DOG Sculpture Installation: Arts Council Grant Award
We are very pleased to announce that Akane Takayama's application for funding to the Arts Council was successful and the DOG Sculpture Installation has been awarded a grant to cover a substantial portion of the cost of this work.
The DOG Sculpture Installation is the work of the London based Japanese artist Akane Takayama.
HOLLAND PARK, Kensington on the 8th August is the next and last date and venue for the DOG Sculpture Installation. This will be the final public installation of 2010 and promises to grow on the previous installations to provide an exceptional experience.
The CLISSOLD PARK EVENT on the 31st July 2010 built on the success of the first installation at Paradise Gardens. Additional elements were built into the installation to provide an extra dynamic and further extend public involvement with the sculpture. This event saw the greater emergence of the public taking creative response into actions.
The installation was part of the Paradise Gardens Event in Victoria Park, organised by Tower Hamlets Events Team, in East London on the 19th & 20th June 2010.
